Thank You, God, For Your Steady Hand

God is working. He’s moving. Every single day of our lives, God has a steady hand over all believers. And even when you don’t feel like He’s working, He is.

What I’ve had to face head on is how to continue to move forward even when what I desire hasn’t appeared. I don’t know a lot. I don’t have the map of my life, and that can create worry. But what God wants from us is trust. God wants us to keep moving steadily. Because when the suddenly comes, we will be exactly where we need to be.

And even after the suddenly, doubt can continue to creep up to discourage and throw you off the path. In those moments, lean on this scripture, “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.” -Philippians‬ ‭4:6-7‬ ‭(NLT‬‬)

God has what’s for us right now. We don’t need to worry about what lies ahead because the creator has the plan. Imagine if you had the blueprint to your entire life. What would you do with it? How would it make you feel? Would you obsess and obsess to get it right? I know I would be a mess because my human brain can’t comprehend what was only meant for God to know. His thoughts are not our thoughts, and His ways are definitely not our sinful ways.

So, I thank God for his steady hand over my life. And I thank God for the suddenly.
