Just a couple months ago, I was excited to find more beachy decor for our home from my favorite store: Dollar Tree. It’s our theme all year round, but summer is the time that it’s in the stores for me to swoop up. And that I did!

But as summer has come to a close, my favorite store gave me a taste of autumn.

And I have to admit, it felt nice. There’s this warm feeling I get when entering into a new season. It’s a fresh start marked by new drinks, food, fashion, decor and so much more.

But what it really is to me is a reminder that my life happens in seasons. Some may be less desirable than others, but in some way, they all shape me into the person that I am and the person I’m still becoming.
