Often times, God gives us a reminder to encourage us to continue on life’s journey. One in particular is a rainbow, which reminds us of God’s promise with Noah and every living creature on earth. As stated in Genesis 7, God promised to never destroy the earth by flood again.
But God doesn’t have to go about something as drastic as the former to remind us to keep going. In fact, it’s in the ordinary that God often shows Himself.

Spring comes and goes every year. Yet, it constantly reminds us of new beginnings. No wonder we spring forward. We spring forward because God is giving us a much-needed push. He’s saying, “I know it isn’t always easy, but I got you.”
Once seeds are planted, it takes time for them to bloom into a beautiful flower. Everything that happens before the flower blooms can be attributed to one word: growth. God is pushing us to grow, much like a flower. He wants us to grow because He already knows the beauty that will take place once we do. If we hold on and allow that growth to take place, we will be rooted in a firm foundation.
