This post is in dedication to my mom.

A mother’s touch cannot be replaced

She gains pain in conceiving her children

And continually thinks about what she can give them

Or takes on the role of motherhood for someone else’s children

Never expecting to gain recognition

A mother’s touch cannot be replaced

As they begin to grow up

She guides them along their way

Despite the times when they do not listen

She continues to love on them and pray

That they will end up okay

A mother’s touch cannot be replaced

She sacrifices for the sake of those around her

Neglecting to take time for herself

But only focusing on those that need help

A mother is one of a kind, a gem — worthy of so much more than she gets credit for.
