I look forward to the Japanese cherry blossoms’ arrival, but with the sporadic fluctuation in weather, I knew that their appearance would be lacking. Despite it all, the effervescent nature tried its best to hang on, and we (my boyfriend and I as well as a couple of friends) made the most of what was given.We fixed up our kites and wrestled with the wind to get them up in the air. Sometimes we weren’t so lucky and bystanders were graced with a whack in the face. But others, we were thrilled to see our multicolored kite soar. My expression says it all.
