Why God Should Be At The Center Of Your Vision

I was watching a sermon online from Transformation Church, and Pastor Mike Todd gave such a poignant one liner. Essentially, he said that we shouldn’t go into 2019 and make a plan and then ask God to bless that plan.DSC_5638.JPGMany of us want to create visions for ourselves this year, and there’s nothing wrong with that. However, without putting God at the center of our vision, we put a cap our blessings.

Think of it this way. Say you’re on a boat and the captain knows how to get from point A to point B. However, every person on the boat disregards the captain and instead, tries to figure out how to get there themselves.

You may think of that scenario as being so silly and wonder why those people would even think that would even be a good idea.

But, oftentimes, that’s what we do to God. We don’t involve Him in our plans when He has the blueprint to our entire life. Then, when something goes wrong, we point a finger right at Him.

In order for God to do miraculous things in your life and move you from the place you are to where He’s called you to be, you have to have a God-centered vision.
