Life has been wonderfully busy these past few months and even before then – but definitely these past few months. In a previous blog post, I spoke about the busy months I was having. And so the busyness continued to the point where my personal writing, reading and vlogging fell to the wayside.

But I’m back with some incredible news.

Drum roll please…

WE BOUGHT A HOUSE!

We, being my husband and I, spent most of this year in pursuit of our first home, and we closed the deal on October 17, 2022. This didn’t come without prayers, doubts, tears, sweat, you name it. But God is truly faithful, and He continues to show us just how faithful He is.

So, since we closed on our house, we’ve been in new homeowners mode. Unpacking and making our house into a home has taken up a majority of our time on top of our jobs and church obligations.

But it doesn’t stop there because why have one monumental change in your life when you can have two? Am I right?!

Another drum roll please…

WE GOT A PUPPY!

Yeah, you heard that right.

Introducing, Nala, our Pomsky (also known as a Pomeranian Siberian Husky).

Here’s the thing. I was planning on getting a puppy for my husband for Christmas (he’s been wanting a puppy for years), but things didn’t work out that way. So, to make sure no one else swooped her up, I had to think fast. And fast it was because we picked her up on November 26, 2022 (a month before Christmas), but everything worked out the way it was meant to be. We are in the process of crate training her, and she is improving day by day. Maybe one day she’ll go in there on her own without any coercing on our end. Let’s just say, this pooch is wild, but her cuteness helps a bit. First the guinea pigs and now a dog. Our family is growing, and we’re loving it.

It feels weird to say that’s it because those are two huge things, but that’s it. I’m so grateful to share this news with my small side of the internet.
