Though, the crisp air of this morning and the slightly warmer, yet breezy air of this afternoon gave me all kind of fall vibes. … Continue reading Highlights Of My Fall Wardrobe

Take A Peak Inside My Fall Home Decor

September 16, 2018January 20, 2019 ~ heyujas ~ Leave a comment

I don't know about you, but I love seeing how other people design their homes for every season. So, it's only fair that I let you take a sneak peak into how I've decided to decorate this fall. All of these items were purchased at the dollar store because – in my opinion – it's one of the … Continue reading Take A Peak Inside My Fall Home Decor

7 Things I’m Most Excited For This Fall

September 11, 2018September 16, 2018 ~ heyujas ~ Leave a comment

Over the years, I’ve learned to embrace the changing of the seasons. As much as I would love for it to be 70 degrees and breezy every single day, I know that’s not feasible. So, with fall just around the corner, I’m reflecting on all of the things that get me excited for the new … Continue reading 7 Things I’m Most Excited For This Fall

I Will Keep My Focus On You

August 26, 2018January 20, 2019 ~ heyujas ~ Leave a comment

At what point do you give up? When everything looks murky and the light is nowhere in sight? When the negativity around you is too much to bear? When giving up and falling to the wayside seem like better options? When you’ve lost every inkling of faith you had in yourself? When you can’t even … Continue reading I Will Keep My Focus On You

I May Be Young, But I Have Struggles Too

August 9, 2018January 20, 2019 ~ heyujas ~ Leave a comment

I don’t think they mean harm, but when someone tells me, “You’re too young to know what struggles even are,” I feel unsettled. I’m sure there will be those out there that disagree – and that’s fine – but I don’t think that age has a direct link to struggle. I think that as you … Continue reading I May Be Young, But I Have Struggles Too

I know some people will think that buying a leopard-print suit is a little outrageous, but fashion should be fun and expressive. Will You Trust Him?!

July 2, 2018January 20, 2019 ~ heyujas ~ Leave a comment

I’ve learned that right when you’re about to come out of your wilderness, that’s when the devil attacks you the most. He does this because he knows that once you come out of your wilderness, you will be closer to your destiny. The devil doesn’t want you to get to your God-given destiny because he is … Continue reading Will You Trust Him?!

There’s no one I would rather spend this next chapter of my life with than you...I love you ❤️ #wereengaged #1corinthians13 #loveneverfails
8 years. Wow. I can’t believe it has been that long. Oh the memories of us staying on webcam for hours and getting lost in deep conversation over the phone. First my friend, then my best friend and now my soulmate. What an incredible journey. But as we all know, relationships foster and grow with turmoil and sadness and distraught interweaved through and through. And yet, we are still here, in love. Through everything, we are still together. For that I am truly grateful. Happy 8th Anniversary, my love. 😘❤️ #foreverandalways

I want to pause and remember this moment because 2018 literally flew by. I’m looking forward to what miraculous things God will do this 2019. God is so good. When I say He literally transformed me this year, I am not kidding. I’m just grateful that He walked with me through the wilderness and is working in and through me every single day. -Jas #happynewyear #Godisgood 🎉🙌🏾
